   Well, he actually does SOUND more like Hal Douglas if you compare the two announcers… so, I can totally see where you got that from. But your first comment was not said in an arrogant “I know everything” kind of way, like some people on here that post comments and don’t know what they are talking about.

   Hey, moberod, you’re totally right. I just saw that one where he refers to himself as Don. My apologies to any fellow youtubers whom I might have led astray by declaring that Pablo was actually doing Hal Douglas.

    Pablo has another stand-up bit where he says he met the movie announcer guy and he quotes him, saying, “Hi Pablo! My name is Don.” I assume that’s the one he is impersonating.

    Okay, there are really only TWO great movie trailer guys: The late great Don Lafontaine, and the still-with-us Hal Douglas. (That cheerful sounding guy who does the direct-to-video Disney trailers doesn’t count.) Check out youtubes “Comedian Trailer” with Hal Douglas as compared to “Don Lafontaine: The Voice.” After careful comparison, I’m pretty sure that Pablo is doing Hal Douglas. Slightly less rich voice, but even deeper and more gravelly. Any thoughts? I could be wrong.
