The thing with this movie is that it didn’t have Eponine in it. When I saw it, I was like, “Where the hell is Eponine?” I was really disappointed about that. She’s one of my fave characters and I wish they made an effort to actually put her in this movie.

Aside from that, I like it.

My dad was such a fan of the book, he read it more then once. My mom told me he was all for humanity, in it’s triumph and even it’s failure and it’s efforts in succeeding.

My professor said lots of minor characters & scenes were missing or didn’t include because of time. We encourage us to read the book, its in full detail but its book is thick.

You idiot! This story was writen in the 1860s, it was first published in 1862, in France! If you pay attention to what the narrator says at the end of the ad, you’ll understand: Victor Hugo’s Les MisĂ©rables. Hugo is one of the most important author of the XIXth century. And if you’re ever interested into the book, that’s a 2′000 pages brick, 1′808 for the PlĂ©iade edition (in french)

  18. MyAvatars 0.2

It was a good movie, I just wish they’d made at least two, maybe even three movies, or maybe a television mini-series to be able to fit all of the great story and characters (like Eponine) into it!

  19. MyAvatars 0.2

yeah i agree she is my fave character I really connect with her …

  23. MyAvatars 0.2

thats why we all like the musical more than the movie. i asume thats how everyone feels. the book is good, the movie is good, but the play trumps everything.
