   oh no? take Dancing Queen clip… Is it really necessary for that many extras? and I gather the whole scene is a “dream mode” like Grease Lightning or Epiphany from sweeney todd, but it was never shown as a dream mode… it looks like they break into a song and everyone in town with no relation to them just follow suit…

   Again, good for theaters, but not as a movie musical…

   I like the songs… but the movie overall is not very good… The movie doesn’t flow well for a movie musical… All of the musical scenes are overly cheezy and pop-up out of nowhere… in short, for a movie musical, it has a bad transition between the story and musical…

   This might look good for theater, but not as a movie…

   watching colin firth and pierce brosnan sing in a musical is not really my idea of fun, but since it came out on dvd i’ve been tempted to see it and from the reviews it got it sounds good

    Incredibly cheesey and fake, seemed like every other few lines of talking there seems to be a singalong. Abba was great but i didn’t like this musical, none of them could sing either.

    errrrrrr. it’s a musical actually. it’s the world’s no. 1 musical and has been it for quite a long time. they remade it into a movie only recently. but i **** the movie. cheesy and dumb. but the lead girl (amanda seyfried) sings REALLY well and shes really pretty

    this was a really funny movie.. i love abba! sure the plot was kinda cheesy but i dont know why it got bad reviews.

    I usually **** musicals, all of them, but I so much liked this one. Although it’s pretty cheesy and easy to digest, it still made me smile and especially cry my heart out

    I LOVED this film and want to produce a spoof on it. Great music and dance moves. I haven’t laughed this much in awhile. I highly recommend it.

    I love abba but this movie really *****! they just invented a stupid plot to get with the songs…meryl streep is a great actress but she sings like ****…
    this is really a ***** flick…fucking terrible!
